"海棲" - Kaisei

Acupuncturist, Bach Flower Remedy practitioner, pet nutrition manager

After graduating from university, I worked at a foreign medical equipment manufacturer before venturing into the pharmaceutical industry. I obtained a national certification as an acupuncturist and moxibustion therapist (acupuncturist) after attending the Oriental Acupuncture and Moxibustion School. I am also a registered practitioner with the Bach Foundation in the UK (BFRP).

I am a member of these groups: Japan Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association, the SHIRAKU therapy institute of Japan, the Japan Traditional Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society, the Shakuju Association, and the Bach Holistic Kenkyukai. Furthermore, I am a member of the Kawasaki Takatsu Fire Brigade and certified as a first-aid provider by the Kawasaki City Fire Department. I hold an amateur fourth-class radio operator license.

As part of my life's work, I am engaged in writing activities and provide consultations on the health of dogs and cats. I am a certified pet nutritist by the Japanese Society of Pet Animal Nutrition.

Why Acupuncture at "Futako" ?

The Futako area, as I know it, is a tranquil and nature-rich local town situated by the large Tama River and the serene Nogawa River that flows into it. Since childhood, when it came to shopping, Tamagawa Takashimaya was the place to go. There was also an amusement park called "Futako Tamagawaen" with a seemingly fragile roller coaster called the "Flying Coaster" (reaching a maximum speed of 62 km/h and spanning a total length of 580 meters) that provided thrilling experiences. As a child, I would secretly come and go through hidden gaps at the small, old movie theater called "Futako Tokyu," and I never grew tired of spending the whole day there.

The locals who have lived in Futako for a long time refer to it as "Futako." However, it seems that those who have recently relocated or occasionally visit refer to it as "Nikotama." Perhaps, Tokyu intentionally made "Nikotama" a more friendly word. Nevertheless, for me, "Futako" is the term I have been accustomed to since childhood.

Over time, even Futako has transformed into one of the finest residential areas within Tokyo. However, for me, it remains a cherished place of memories where I enjoyed walking with beloved dogs and a hometown I have been familiar with since childhood.

As an acupuncturist, it is essential to be aware of the flow of energy and provide treatment in an environment that enables optimal conditions. I want the space to be a place where patients can relax while being filled with "happiness hormones," assisting in restoring balance to their bodies and minds. It is for these reasons that I have chosen to practice in Futako, where I feel the most at ease and can maintain a calm state of mind.

Ultimately, overcoming illness relies on the patient's own immune system, regardless of whether it is viewed through the lens of Eastern or Western medicine. I believe that this space allows patients to actively pursue their own health.
